The agricultural town of Brush, Colorado, which lies in the South Platte River Valley, was established in June of 1882.
Brush has many amenities coupled with small city living. There is a community hospital, a police department, a fire department, a library and museum, a movie theater and places to go fishing and trail walking. Historical buildings are scattered all over town and there are restaurants, a grocery store, a golf course, a swimming pool, a tennis court and skating rink and four local parks. 90 miles from Denver, and a short drive to Greeley or Sterling puts it in the perfect spot for living and commuting to work.
Some of the yearly events of the community are the July 4th Rodeo, October Fest, Demo Derby, 4-H Junior Fair, the Hot Air Balloon Festival and Country Christmas. Brush is truly an “All American City”!
